Once the MOT base is in, compacted down and level, we use a special fine sand which creates the top base making it smooth ready for the artificial grass. We install a high-quality weed barrier over the cleared and leveled surface. This barrier prevents weed growth while allowing proper water drainage.
Artificial Grass Installation
Once the base is in place, we carefully unroll and position the artificial grass according to the predetermined layout. Our skilled installers ensure that the seams are well-aligned and virtually invisible. We also take into consideration the natural grain and direction of the grass to provide a realistic and aesthetically pleasing appearance. If necessary, we may trim the edges for a perfect fit.
Infill and Brushing
To enhance the performance and longevity of the artificial grass, we can apply an infill material. This infill, typically made of silica sand helps to stabilize the blades, improve resilience, and provide a comfortable feel underfoot. After spreading the infill evenly, we use a power brush to work it into the fibers, ensuring an even distribution and an upright position for the blades.
